Roger J. Cygan, 70, husband of the late Jean Marie (Fontaine) Cygan, entered into eternal peace Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Blair Manor in Enfield. The son of the late John and Stella (Netopski) Cygan, Roger was born in Springfield, MA and raised in Somers. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army stationed in Okinawa. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Hartford, and most recently was a carrier for the Springfield Republican and Journal Inquirer Newspapers. Roger is survived by a sister, June C. Nowak and her husband John of Tariffville, CT and many extended family members. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Leete-Stevens for a procession to St. Bernard Church in Enfield for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
