Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Elizabeth Zingle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Elizabeth "Betty"  Zingle (Munson)
Elizabeth B. "Betty" (Munson) Zingle, 102, of Wallingford, CT entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Betty was born on November 17, 1915 in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Norbert and Agnes (Jenks) Munson. In 1959, Betty moved to Enfield, where she made her home with her husband, the late Daniel Zingle. She was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church and was an avid reader. Betty is survived by two children, Albert T. Zingle and his wife, Jacqueline of Enfiled, CT, and Barbara Dolan and her husband, Richard of Wallingford, CT; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her husband, Betty was predeceased by three children, Daniel Zingle, David Zingle, and James Zingle. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT 06082. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave, Enfield, CT 06082. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
