Douglas L. “Doug” Robinson, 62, of Windsor Locks, loving husband of Diane (Severance) Robinson entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital with his family by his side. Doug was born February 27, 1957, in Burlington, VT the son of Douglas Robinson and the late Elsie (Duffy) Robinson. Doug was an avid sports fan; his favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed fishing and spoiling his dogs, Daisy and Moose. Doug was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 559 in South Windsor. In addition to his wife, Diane to whom he was married 33 years and his father, Douglas and his wife, Faith he is also survived by his two children, Adam Robinson of Enfield and Melanie Robinson of Somers; a brother, Dale Robinson and his wife, Marlene of FL; a sister, Dawn Keenan and her companion Rich Wiebust of Springfield, MA; his sister-in-law, Deborah Healy and her husband, Rick of Peru, NY; brothers-in-law, Kirk Severance and his wife, Connie of North Granby, Keith Severance of FL, and Wayne Severance and his wife, Marie of NC and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Windsor locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service celebrating Doug’s life will be celebrated at 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
