Tammy Arlene (Hamilton DiNatale) Harmon, 55, of Enfield wife of the late Donald E. Harmon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Yale New Haven Hospital. Tammy was born October 20, 1963, in Hartford, CT the daughter of Maurice Sr. of Windsor and the late Louise J. (Barnard) Hamilton. Tammy grew up in Windsor, graduating from Windsor High School, Class of 1981. She was a former member of the Windsor Police Auxiliary program in the 80’s and a firefighter with the Bluehills Fire Department, Bloomfield, making her the first woman to live in the Firehouse Station 3. Tammy was a a proud member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #1525 and the Moose Riders of Thompsonville and former Chaplin. Her favorite hobby was making cakes and candy, Enchanting Confections, by Tammy. In addition to her father, Maurice “Moose”, Tammy leaves behind her step-children, Alyssa Harmon Smith and Donald Harmon; her sister, Terry Davis; her grandson, Cole; her brother, Maurice “Junior” Hamilton, Jr.; her nephews, Dakota Hamilton and Bryan Roberts; her nieces, Sierra Myers and Kimberly Scott; a sisters-in-law, Sharon Boyd, Lori Harmon Vaillancourt, and Donna Myers, her best friends, Judith Tomaro Miller, Katherine Garcia, and Brandy LeMay and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tammy was predeceased by an infant son, Tyler Howard Monroe Bligh. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Thursday June 27, 2019, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service in celebration of Tammy’s life will be celebrated on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 10 am at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield. Memorial contributions in memory of Tammy maybe made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
