Dear Family ~ Chris, Victoria, Jessica and extended families: How our worlds collided when I became best friends with Victoria through our children and I got to know your parents in my adult life! I have memories of your dad asking to keep one of my projects... a macrame flag... hanging in his room for the year and feeling happy. I don't remember many of the "Cherlong-isms" aside from "cover the canyon," but I remember loving him as a teacher cause he was like a dad wanting his students to behave and succeed! Meeting him again the past number of years and sharing what I came to see as his tender side and love for all of you and your mom was a true privilege. Peace in time and deepest sympathy. Many fond memories of you and your family on Woodland St.when I was a young boy.
And recently at Janet's home on many New Year's days.
Enjoyed our conversations there.
You will be missed!
